When to Leave the Driver in the Bag

I'm not sure quite sure how often he used his driver, but there was not much know what to emphasize, I advocate in my golf tips and golf instruction as to when the driver left in the bag cuts strokes from your score and your golf -handicap.

Tiger succeeded at the British Open because he played smart golf. This requires strategicPositioning of the ball, if you have, which means, sometimes with the 3-wood, a hybrid club, or a low iron from the tee. Here are some tips when you are with each use.

The 3-Wood

The 3-wood is easier than to meet the driver. It is especially useful if you need to hit the fairway or if you draw or fade the ball on doglegs. It is also beautiful on the holes with tight fairways. Some experienced players use it almost exclusively from the T-shirt. Novices find the 3-wood, a largeSubstitute for the driver most of the time.

Since the 3-wood is easier than the driver to maintain control, it is easier to learn, for a fade or draw with. You have to change significantly your set-up or your swing.
